It took months of planning and training, 14 flatbed trucks, three large cranes and 14 hours on Saturday to move four Asian elephants safely a mere 30 miles south from the San Diego Zoos Wild Animal Park to the their new, state-of-the-art home at The Harry and Grace Steele Elephant Odyssey, a new animal habitat debuting at the San Diego Zoo on May 23.
