Moral Story For Kids in English | The Lion And The Elephant | Animal & Jungle Story One day, Gugu went to meet the lion, the king of the forest. Over pleasantries, Gugu notices that the lion looked very content and happy. When the lion was asked what brought about such a transformation, the lion goes on to say… How he lived in the jungle being strong and mighty and having sharp claws and teeth. His power is known far and wide. But was troubled about a certain problem. It was the crowing of the rooster. It quite disturbed him and he often wondered if life was worth living when a creature as small as this terrified a mighty animal like himself. He had cried pitifully and just as his sobs grew louder, he saw an elephant nearing him. The Elephant was huge and scary but was flapping his large ears to and fro. With great concern, the Lion had got closer to where the Elephant was and asked with great concern if there was anything that really have the power to harm a beast of the Elephant's size, bulk, and strength. The Elephant told the Lion that it might be shocked to know that there was a little bee buzzing near the ear and his sting was poisonous. He told him that if the Bee were to sting him inside his ear, he would go terribly mad. It pained the Lion after hearing the Elephant's troubles. The Lion had taken heart again and decided not to let the troubles which he shared with all living beings blind him to what was really pleasant in life. He now confessed to Gugu that he thanked God for all that he had, being the King of all the beasts.
